In his speech to world leaders at 2021 UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, “In Canada, there was a town called Litton. I say ‘was’ because on June 30th, it burned to the ground. The day before, the temperature had hit 49.6C, the hottest ever recorded. Canada is warming, on average, twice as quickly as the rest of the world.”

PM Trudeau committed Canada to immediately cap oil and gas emissions, and ensure they decreases at a pace and scale that ensures they reach net zero by 2050.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was assaulted yesterday with gravel thrown at him as he boarded his campaign bus

This is not ok. This is an assault on the Prime Minister of Canada. These actions are criminal, as defined by the Criminal Code of Canada, and need to be investigated and prosecuted as such.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau said today he won’t let “the mob” control his campaign after he was sprayed with gravel during a raucous protest in London, Ont. yesterday.

“No one should be doing their jobs under the threat of violence or acts that put them in danger,” he said during a campaign stop in Montreal today.

“There are health care workers across the country who are getting hassled and intimidated and bullied as they are going in to work to keep people safe and alive. There are store clerks, waitresses, people going about their daily lives getting yelled at and pushed around for wearing masks, for being vaccinated. That’s not how we do things in Canada.”
